THE CHALLENGE
Ryan led EyeLevel’s search for a software solution to manage both the class scheduling and payment sides of their business. What they needed from their data went far beyond what their Google docs spreadsheets could do. To grow at all, they needed a system that provided a database that feeds scheduling and account tools.
THE SOLUTION
Ryan’s initial concerns were moving data and training instructors. Both vanished as the integrated power of the system began to be revealed. Even less computer savvy instructors quickly became adept with the software.
EyeLevel has integrated bar code scanning for attendance, giving them an automated way to check students in. After researching the capabilities of bar coding further, Ryan put it to work with Jackrabbit’s Time Clock. Using his ingenious barcoding system through individual lanyards, Ryan gave the instructors a way to easily check in without keeping up with passwords. Point of Sale fit right into EyeLevel’s needs to sell and inventory their books and allowed them to eliminate the cost of separate inventory software.
The skills features initially would only accommodate a portion of EyeLevel’s book inventory. The Jackrabbit dev team provided a little customization that expanded this to cover all inventory items they needed to track – book by book.
