Summer at Jackrabbit is Support’s busiest time! In preparation for the high volume of tickets, phone calls and training, our development team has been fabulous at tackling some recent quick pick enhancement requests to make several areas of Jackrabbit even better. They are adding these more subtle enhancements while still completing some significant enhancements – such as our new Staff Time Clock!

Don’t forget check on enhancement progress by scrolling down to the Recent Enhancements Area of your Dashboard.  As enhancements are implemented they are noted here.  You can also view more enhancements by pulling the Recent Enhancements Report from under the Tools menu.

Here are a couple of recent and not so recent “big bang” enhancements you should consider.  They are related to Jackrabbits Online Registration integration and are meant to help you achieve optimum enrollments in your classes.

To have Makeup students, Waitlist students and Future Enrolled students calculated in the number of openings for your classes, use these settings:

TOOLS –> WEB REGISTRATION –> SETTINGS – SHOULD MAKEUPS EFFECT OPENINGS, SHOULD WAITLIST EFFECT OPENING AND SHOULD FUTURE ENROLLMENTS EFFECT OPENINGS.

Have you ever had a person on the Waitlist or slated for a Future Enrollment, only to have the spot snapped up by an online registration?  If you set either of these values to YES, then any Makeup, Waitlisted or Future Enrolled student will be counted in the total number of students allowed to enroll in any class.
