As you may have noticed, Jackrabbit has released automated discounting and prorating functionality in various parts of the database (Online Web Registration, Posting Tuition Fees, Parent Portal, and Quick Registration). Now, as a Jackrabbit User, you have the ability to automatically discount and prorate when enrolling within the database.

Selecting Classes for a Students

When you click the Enroll link or button for a Student in Jackrabbit, you will see this alert:

Now, when you enroll a student, you can select more than one class at once. This is for classes they are enrolling into or classes with waitlists they wish to join. No more enrolling students into each class individually!

As you click Enroll or Waitlist, you will see a green checkmark, indicating that class or classes have been selected.

After you confirm the enrollments are correct, you have the option to post fees. The fees are shown with discounting and prorating already applied. Simply check the box(es) for the fee(s) you would like to post. Not sure how the amount was calculated? Click on the icon to see more details!

Selecting Students for a Class

When you click the Enroll Student button from a Class page or the Enroll Existing Student button from the Weekly Calendar, you will see this alert:

Now, when you search for a student, you can select multiple students from the same family at once. This is for classes they are enrolling into or classes with waitlists they wish to join. No more enrolling each student, individually, from the same family in to a single class!

After you confirm the enrollments are correct, you have the option to post fees. The fees are shown with discounting and prorating already applied. Simply check the box(es) for the fee(s) you would like to post. Not sure how the amount was calculated? Click on the icon to see more details!

Having the ability to automatically discount and prorate from the User’s (your) side:

• makes sure that you are consistent in how you bill your families
• ensures your families are being billed the correct amount
• saves your office staff time in calculating discounts and proration manually
• gives your families a great experience with your organization
