Identify business habits you should break
Many of us have heard that ‘it only takes 3 weeks to break a habit, but that’s not quite long enough. When in reality, it takes 66 days to break a habit or form a new one. Yep, you read that right – 66 days. Don’t let that freak you out – stay with me here.
Knowing that it takes more than 2 months to break or form a habit, it’s not reasonable to work on multiple habits at the same time. You want to set yourself up for success, not failure! None of us (including myself) are exempt from these habits. I found myself noticing these habits and making changes in my day-to-day after the webinar.

Find the right connections
You’re running a business and you need strong people in your corner. From mentors and advisers to peers that you trust. Can you reach out to them when you need advice? Can you rely on them? The answer should always be yes!
Sometimes, the best connections come from networking opportunities like online forums and group chats or live events (conferences, trade shows, training, etc). Being surrounded by people who are like-minded and understand your industry is like being in a gold mine – take advantage!
Also, you have to have the right tools and technology. Running your business isn’t something you can do on an excel sheet anymore, which leads me to the next tip.
Go completely paperless
Going paperless in 2021 doesn’t mean get rid of the physical paper in the binders of death. I am talking to you who still use excel to manage your classes, account balances, and other processes.
