What is the last picture you took with your phone? A gorgeous pic looking up at the trees in my front yard showing the beauty of the fall leaves.
What is the best compliment you have received? The best compliment I’ve ever received was that my son is a kind and empathetic boy who stands up for people.
What do you feel most proud of? I am most proud of my husband and my son and the family that we have created.
What is your favorite music? My favourite music is anything with a good beat that gets my toe tapping! My taste is quite eclectic and not limited to one particular genre.
If you could only keep 5 possessions, what would they be? If I could only keep 5 possessions they would be: a photo of my family, my wedding ring, smart phone, lipgloss and a toothbrush!
Why did you choose this profession? I chose to work in Support, and particularly in ePayments Support, because of my desire to help people and my natural aptitude for numbers.
What is your strongest personal quality? Definitely my sense of humour… A good sense of humour is an escape valve for the pressures of life!
A little more about Sandi…
Born in Eastern Canada, Sandi moved to Vancouver, British Columbia at an early age and considers herself a true “West Coaster.” It became clear very early on that Sandi had an aptitude for numbers and she has followed this path throughout her career. Emerging from the Certified General Accountant’s program at the University of British Columbia, Sandi joined a Global Mining Corporation as their Accounting Manager. Although the position was based in Vancouver, BC, the company’s assets were located throughout South America, Africa and Asia, which gave her a solid foundation in international commerce. Wanting to work closer to home, Sandi became the Office Manager and Bookkeeper for a local, family owned group of businesses including Property Management, various Salon and Spa ventures and a Hydraulic Machine Shop.
Sandi lives in Pitt Meadows, a suburb of Vancouver, with her husband and son. In her spare time she loves to decorate, enjoys photography and most recently has become a Certified Zumba Fitness Instructor.
